We are part of the wider One In A Million family whose charitable objectives are achieved through six main activity areas: Community, Positive Lifestyle, Corporate Events and Sponsorship, OIAM Free School, a partnership with Bradford Youth Offending Team and of course, our Alternative Education Provision.

Every week, One In A Million supports over 1,500 children and young people, and has made a significant contribution to Children’s Services and the Third Sector within Bradford. It has the support of parents and of a number of local businesses through its Corporate Partners Programme.

One In A Million have developed a highly successful team of community partners and ambassadors. They have all achieved significantly in their own area of expertise in Sports, Arts and Enterprise such as our community partners Bradford City, Bradford Bulls, The Yorkshire Cricket and Bradford City Women’s Football, Gareth Gates & Lara Martin (Musician & Performers), Tom Milner (Actor, Singer & Performer), Mick Spratt (Audio Visual Consultant), Derm Tanner (BBC Sports Radio Presenter), Tanya Arnold (BBC TV Sports Presenter), Peter Beagrie and Tim Thornton (Sky Sports Presenters), Stuart McCall (Professional Football Player and Manager), David Wetherall (Head of Youth Development for The Football league), Anthony McGrath (Professional Cricket Player and Coach), Peter Elliot (International Athlete), Brian Noble (ex-Bradford Bulls & Great Britain Rugby League Manager) and Philip Davies MP.

Our community partners and ambassadors are inspirational role models and examples of excellent practice. Students are encouraged to progress on their chosen pathways and educational journey. Upon visiting our schools and taking part in assemblies, we ask community partners and ambassadors what they have learned about life. They tend to inform our students that success is achieved through hard work and resilience.
