This GCSE equivalent is a four unit course. Three units of the course will be coursework based and 1 unit is exam based. Two units will be completed in yr10 and two in Yr11.
To ensure the course is robust and as stretching as a GCSE, every Cambridge National has an exam, which will last 1 1/2 hrs. Your child will have two opportunities to take the exam, January and June in Yr11.
It explores the Health Care, Social Care and Early Years sectors and is an excellent starting point for anyone who wants to work in these fields and has direct progression into Post 16 Courses.
