The support we have received from trusts and foundations over the years has helped us to grow our sports, arts and enterprise offer to children and young people across some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country.
From our first football project on the 6th May 2006 in Canterbury (which was attended by 7 young people), through to today, where we run activities and programmes from five community hubs working with over 1,500 children and young people a week, your support has helped us work towards fulfilling our vision.
We would like to express our deepest heartfelt gratitude to every single trust and foundation that has support One In A Million to date. The charity could not have done what it have done without your generosity and support. On behalf of the children and young people we work alongside – thank you!
According to the office of national statistics there are 39,000 children living in poverty across Bradford. Therefore, we have a long way still to go in playing our part to improve the life chances in every child and young person in our city.
To discuss how you could help One In A Million move towards long term sustainability as well as innovative ways to support the journey towards fulfilling our vision, or maybe you would like to arrange a visit to one of our five Bradford community hubs that you are interested in learning more about. It would be our pleasure!
