OIAM STARS Awards 2018 showcases the COURAGE of Bradford’s children & young people!

On Saturday 13th October 2018, One In A Million held its 10th annual flagship STARS Awards Ceremony at the prestigious Bradford Grammar School.

Our theme for this years awards ceremony was ‘COURAGE’ and this was in full display with some outstanding performances and achievements celebrated, from the children and young people who have attended OIAM programmes during the last 12 months.

STARS 2018 was co-hosted by sports presenter Derm Tanner and One In A Million Chief Executive and Co-founder Wayne Jacobs and attended by over 250 guests, which included local dignitaries including; Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, The Lord and Lady Mayoress of Bradford and Chief Executive of Bradford Council. Guests were treated to a moving awards ceremony and some moving performances from our OIAM Free School Choir, OIAM Community Dance Group and individual solo from Mel McMahon (OIAMFS Student).

The evening was rounded off by guests enjoying a dance, accompanied by live music from our very own Robbie Miller. We would like to place on record our THANKS and gratitude to all our sponsors, donators on the evening, the County Caterers team and all who attended to make the evening a very special occasion.
