Behaviour & Attendance Manager (FT) – Closing date: Mon 17th June 2019. Start Date: September 2019 or sooner.

This is a new post that will enable us to support our students with the ever-increasing challenges and changes in their lives and ensure they are supported with their personal development, behaviour, attendance and welfare to achieve their potential. 

  • You will be required to manage and support behaviour and attendance through the use of data and strategic intervention in order to maximise student attainment.
  • Working with the Deputy Vice Principal and leading the Heads of Year, you will form an outstanding pastoral team to ensure that students reach their full potential.
  • You must have extensive experience of working in a school setting managing behaviour and attendance with a background in supporting vulnerable children and families.

Assistant Senco (FT) – Closing date: Mon 17th June 2019. Start Date: September 2019.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding SENCO who is creative, confident and enthusiastic. The primary quality for our SENCO is that they see themselves as a student advocate. You should be able to: 

  • Work with teachers and school leaders to identify students who have barriers to learning and plan appropriate responses with them; 
  • Track the progress of all students on the Inclusion Register; 
  • Advise teachers on strategies that make a difference to students and contribute to the school CPD programme; 
  • Oversee and quality assure all intervention programmes;
  • Deal professionally with a range of external professionals and agencies; 
  • Lead our team of teaching assistants and volunteers; 
  • Ensure all paperwork associated with SEND and vulnerable students is completed on time.

Ks2 Teacher (FT) – Closing date: Mon 17th June 2019. Start Date: September 2019.

About the Role:

  • Planning and delivering lessons to Year 7/8 students at a Key Stage 2/Key Stage 3 level Working across all subjects Assessing and recording students’ progress, preparing reports and taking part in parental consultations.
  • Contributing to the school and pupil progress.
  • Strong Emphasis on training colleagues to deliver primary school elements
  • Working knowledgeably and resourcefully with students who may be well below the expected NC level for their age.
