Student Assembly Raises Awareness Of The Consequences Of Knife Crime
On 30th March 2022, the Bradford Youth Justice Service came into One In A Million Free School to talk to Years 10 and 11 and raise awareness about knife crime and its consequences.
Students were made aware by a police officer that just for carrying a knife they could get 4 years in prison.
An educational video, which included harrowing testimonies drove home the important message around the consequences of carrying a knife, both for the victim and the perpetrator.
These assemblies could save lives. Thank you Bradford Youth Justice Service and West Yorkshire Police for your support in educating our students.
