One In A Million is a Bradford based charity that engages with children and young people, through Sports, the Arts and Enterprise. Our city has one of the fastest-growing youth populations in the country with many of our children living in areas of high deprivation. Many of the wards we work within in Bradford are amongst the top 2% of the most disadvantaged communities in the country. Our ‘Hub and Spoke’ model enables us to use formal and informal education as a delivery mechanism to break the cycles of deprivation over their young lives, valuing and celebrating their uniqueness, and letting them know they are ‘one in a million’.
