SENCo & Inclusion Lead (Assistant Principal)
We are looking to appoint a SENCO and Inclusion Lead (Assistant Principal) who is ambitious for and committed to the life chances of all our young people at One In A Million Free School. This role is suitable for a dedicated and excellent SENCO who is ready to take on a wider range of leadership and management responsibilities.

Head of Maths
The Head of Department is responsible for managing all activities within their Department. The post holder will be responsible for the proactive, continual improvement of high quality teaching and learning across the subject, and developing whole school improvements as agreed with senior leaders.
The post holder will work with other Heads of Department/Faculty to enhance the quality and coherence of the curriculum (including assessment) and continue to develop the curriculum offer (including within the connected framework) to achieve the school’s stated outcomes for students.

Head of Science

Head of PE
The Head of Department is responsible for managing all activities within their Department and leading PE at offsite provisions. The post holder will be responsible for the proactive, continual improvement of high quality teaching and learning across the subject, and developing whole school improvements as agreed with senior leaders. The post holder will be responsible for all aspects required for offsite events and displaying a risk averse attitude in the planning and execution of these events and activities.
The post holder will work with other Heads of Department/Faculty to enhance the quality and coherence of the curriculum (including assessment) and continue to develop the curriculum offer (including within the connected framework) to achieve the school’s stated outcomes for students.

Music Teacher
Ensure that students are highly engaged, motivated and achieve excellent standards; being accountable for the progress of your students.

To prepare and deliver lessons to key stage 3 that enrich the students’ experience and give them the opportunity to succeed academically.

Develop Music within the Connected Curriculum model at key stage 3, building conceptual understanding of the ‘big ideas’, the connections across the curriculum and the continuous development of students’ Core Learning Skills.

Develop the profile of Music in KS3 with a view to introducing it as a GCSE.

Education Welfare Officer
The post holder will be responsible for working with the Senior Leadership Team, the Behaviour and Attendance Manager, Pastoral Heads of Year and wider school support teams to improve individual and whole school behaviour and attendance.
You will be responsible for applying the School’s Behaviour, Attendance and Punctuality Policy, whilst also identifying children/families in need of support. You will be expected to visit parents/carers in their homes to identify reasons for non-attendance and agree a course of action whilst offering support, care and guidance as required.
You will lead behaviour programmes with individual and small groups of students to support positive behaviour for learning across the school. You will lead continuous professional development sessions where appropriate, to support school staff to act in line with the behaviour and attendance policies and procedures in relation to improving behaviour, attendance and punctuality of groups and individuals.

School Community Manager
At One In A Million Free School our vision and ethos is to support all students to thrive; so that they achieve or exceed their potential. The One In A Million Hub and Spoke model encapsulates this; it will be part of your role to further embed it within our school’s culture.
You will be able to evidence knowledge and experience of building positive relationships within the community.
The Community Manager will organise and coordinate the school’s ‘Enrichment Programme’, foster positive relationships with parents/carers through helping to organise formal Parent/Carers’ Evenings and Forums, organise careers events and opportunities with Corporate Partners of One In A Million Charity and other groups. You will support the social ane cultural development of our students so that they can make a positive contribution to school and their communities.

- OIAMFS opened in September 2013 with just 60 year 7 students, we are now full and are oversubscribed every year. We are based next to the iconic home of Bradford City Football Club, Valley Parade.
- OIAMFS is part of the One In A Million family. One In A Million was established in 2006 as a charity that wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people in Bradford through sport, the arts and enterprise. Our name reflects our values: every child is valued and unique.
