The students who attended were resplendent in their finery and it was clear that endless hours had been spent ironing shirts, polishing
sequins and attending to hairstyles. The results were spectacular!

The students shared a luxurious chauffeur driven Hummer ride to The Midland Hotel, before enjoying speeches from the One In A Million
founder and Chief Executive, Wayne Jacobs, the School Principal, Philip Grant and myself Jaz Qadri. The students then responded with their own speeches which, celebrated the impact that One In A Million has had on their lives and fondly recalled anecdotes from the previous 5 years.

As the evening continued, the magicians tricks became ever more remarkable, the dancing ever more enthusiastic and the celebrations
ever more joyful.

This was indeed a very special One In A Million evening which acknowledged the journey of the first cohort of One In A Million students from Year 7 to 11. We wish them continued success in their future lives. We will miss them enormously.

You will forever be members of the One In A Million family! And remember, you are unique and valued. You are ‘one in a million’.
