The workshop involved firstly finding out who Vanquis Banking Group are? What they do? And a review of future opportunities within the company.

The main focus of the workshop was looking at what makes a good interview and top tips for interviews from our panel of volunteers.

The Vanquis team will be returning in June to run a follow-up ‘Interview Practice’ workshop.

These workshops are an invaluable experience for our students as they build and prepare for future steps.

Our students really enjoyed the workshop and are already looking forward to the next one.

One student said, “It was very interesting to find out about the Vanquis jobs and I enjoyed thinking about careers. I can’t wait to try out on the interview day”.

Another student remarked, “It was good to hear the interview tips and I will try these to get good at interviews”.

And another said, “I liked hearing about the jobs they did and how they got them”.
