OIAM proudly supports The Shipley Golf Club AM AM Tournament 2017
18th August 2017. One In A Million were delighted to be invited as co organisers and chosen charity for The Shipley Golf Club’s long established annual AM AM Golf tournament, which took place on Friday 18th August 2017, sponsored by our friends Illingworth McNair Insurance brokers.
On a rain threatened day, 80 Golfers played 18 holes of Stableford Golf on an immaculately presented Golf Course, with the opportunity to win many fantastic prizes including a fun Hole in One competition. A welcome Halfway House sponsored by One In A Million Corporate Partner This is Chemistry, provided a welcome break during the round.
Teams of 4 were joined by players from the world of sport and television including; Bradford City legend John Hendrie, Bradford Bulls Chairman Jas Attwell and TV commentator John Helm.
Congratulations to our prize winners; 1st prize This is Chemistry (88 points, 2nd Prize AGD Yorkshire Ltd (83 points), 3rd prize Illingworth McNair (83 points), Nearest the Pin - Mike Procter, Longest Drive - Andrew Merrick, Nearest the Line - Patsy Flannigan.
Following an enjoyable round of Golf, the day was rounded off with dinner and a fantastic Q&A session with Bradford sporting legends Brian Noble, John Hendrie and John Helm hosted by One In A Million Co - founder Wayne Jacobs.

Over £7,000 was raised during the afternoon to support One In A Million’s work amongst disadvantaged children and young people in the Bradford and Keighley districts. We would like to thank everyone who took part and help make it a memorable and enjoyable day.
