One In A Million Recieve West Yorkshire Police Crime Commissioner Grant
31st March 2017. One In A Million are honoured to receive an Safer Communities Grant award of £5000 from the West Yorkshire Police Crime Commissioners Fund. This award will help support our Streetwise project that we run across the 5 constituencies across the city.
StreetWise is project that delivers key messages alongside a football coaching programme that is aimed at 11-18 year olds.
During the most recent project the message was centred around ‘Tackling Football Hooliganism” and educating children and young people that you can be part of a team with healthy competition without crossing the line that could end up leading you down the wrong path with disastrous consequences.
