David Crossley, General Manager, took the time to introduce them to the grand history of the hotel and share his own inspiring career story from room service waiter to General Manager.

Engage and inspired, the young people were taken on a behind the scenes tour of the hotel and introduced to the many roles which exist within the hospitality sector, which were eye opening for many of our young people.

One of the most eye catching features of the hotel is the magnificent chandelier in the Princes Ballroom, which our young people loved!

A great experience was enjoyed by everyone and many of the young people came away with aspirations of applying for one of the many casual and part time roles which exist within the hotel.

Manny: “What a great experience and I enjoyed David’s story telling”.  

Kamsie: “I couldn’t stop taking pics at the hotel to show my family”.

Lucas: “It’s great to hear that there may be an opportunity to get a job here in a couple of years when I reach the right age”.
